Albacore Systems have recently added MCE Logistics to their ever growing list of freight industry customers. As the leading IT providers to Freight industry, Albacore completed a full migration of IT services comprising support of user workstations, firewall, Office 365, domain name and a full session hosted server solution using ASM Sequoia clearance software.

Kent based MCE Logistics are specialists in importing fresh produce, fish, meat and dairy products to the UK. They had previously struggled to find a provider that offered the expertise to deliver a responsive solution that worked for them both inside and outside their offices.

Albacore leveraged many of their latest technology offerings in the solution created for MCE, such as MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) for access to the hosted servers alongside their Managed Services and Applications product that includes the full range of Microsoft 365 tools for compliance and collaboration. The solution also includes unlimited user and hardware support with pro-active alerting and update management of workstations to offer a fully managed and secure solution.

The migration was handled by Albacore’s skilled engineering team who prepared the new solution in the background before cutting over all applications for MCE in a single afternoon, with both onsite and remote engineers involved.

Paul Holland, director of MCE said:

“I am more than happy with the service provided by Albacore. Our server is noticeably faster and we are very happy.”

Charlie Frost, Senior Systems Engineer said:

“A conversation had been ongoing since 2022 with MCE after being introduced to them via an existing customer. I’m honoured to have been given the chance to prove the breadth of our offerings to them, and we look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
